Less than a month into their inaugural season, the Hoptown Hoppers lead the way in early attendance figures.
According to information from the Ohio Valley League, the first place Hoppers average nearly 300 fans per home game. A total of 2,065 fans have watched the Hoppers in the first seven home games. The three largest crowds have been at Hoppers' games.
Fulton (177) and Madisonville (168) rank second and third in average attendance, while Marion (103) is fourth. The largest city in the Ohio Valley League -- Owensboro -- averages less than 100 fans per home game (92).
The first place Hoppers host Owensboro tonight at 7:05pm.
