With four minutes to go in the first half, Murray State's Isaiah Canaan was scoreless and the Racers trailed SEMO 33-23. The junior guard drained a couple of threes and a couple of free throws to finish with eight points in the half.
The second half was owned by Canaan.
SEMO led 46-35 with 17:00 left in the game. Murray outscored the Redhawks 24-2 over the next six minutes to take a 59-48 lead and essentially claim the game. Canaan had 16 of Murray's 24 points in that run.
Canaan finished with 32 points as Murray State improved to 22-0 overall and 10-0 in the OVC.
