Trigg County's volleyball season ended Monday night with yet another three set loss to Livingston Central 24-26, 25-22, and 25-17. It was the 13th time in 33 matches this year that Trigg had a match last three sets. Trigg was 5-8 this year when the match lasted three sets.
Trigg's season ends with a record of 11-22.
Livingston went on to beat Crittenden County in three sets to claim the district title on their home floor.
Meanwhile, Christian County and Hopkinsville will meet for the Eighth District championship after both teams claimed semifinal wins Monday. Christian County beat UHA 25-12, 25-17, while Hopkinsville slipped past Fort Campbell in three sets 18-25, 25-16, 25-20.
Match time tonight is 7pm at Hopkinsville High School.
