Trigg County 2 Paducah Tilghman 1

Trigg County opened the 2010 girls' soccer season with a 2-1 win over Paducah Tilghman at the Complex tonight.

Trigg got two early goals from Carly Dothsuk and Ellie Jolly and survived a sluggish second half to win. Katie Davis was strong in goal for the Lady Wildcats, who won their second straight season opener over the Lady Tornado.

It was also the first win for new soccer coach Sal Lara.

Trigg County will travel to St. Mary Saturday for a 5:30pm contest.
