University Heights Academy scored nine times in the first innings and went on for the 16-6 win over Trigg County Thursday at the Complex.
UHA had four hits and took advantage of three Trigg errors in the frame.
Trigg scored four times in the second inning to cut the lead to 9-5, but UHA tacked on four runs in the third to put the game away.
Jessica Hanks had two singles and scored three runs, while Shayna Hudson had two hits for UHA.
Sierra Bush had two hits for Trigg County, while Morgan Parker added a triple for the Lady Wildcats.
UHA improved to 7-15 and will host Russellville today.
Trigg County fell to 1-12 and will host Hopkinsville today at the Complex.
