Trigg County snapped a three-game losing streak with a 15-2 win at Webster County Saturday.
The win gives the Wildcats a 14-17 record and three straight seasons of at least 13 wins, which is believed to be a school record.
On Saturday, David Wease, Hunter Smilie, and R.J. Sholar each had three hits, with Sholar knocking in four runs. Alex Sadler and Hunter Allen each smacked their third home run of the season as part of the 14-hit attack. Trigg had scored just one run in their previous three games.
Trigg scored in every inning, including five in the first.
Sholar picked up the pitching win, scattering four hits and striking out three.
Trigg County returns to action today at Union County.
