Hunter Allen smacked a 3-run homer as part of a 5-run sixth inning to lead Trigg County past Murray 7-6 Monday night at the Complex. The win avenged a 12-7 loss to the Tigers earlier in the month.
R.J. Sholar had three hits and two RBIs, and Cameron Sumner had two hits for the Wildcats, who had eight in the game.
Preceding Allen's sixth inning homer, Jared Stallons had an RBI double and R.J. Sholar had a two-run single.
Alex Sadler pitched the final two innings to get the win, giving up four hits,
Trigg County (5-10) will host Lyon County today, while Murray (8-6) will play Hickman County Thursday.
