Todd County used a late 6-0 run to beat Trigg County 59-54 in girls' basketball action at Wildcat Gym Tuesday night.
Trigg trailed 50-47 with 2:38 left, but the Lady Rebels scored six straight points to push the lead out to 56-47 with 58 seconds left.
The game was tied at 28 at halftime before Todd County scored the first eight points of the second half. Trigg never led in the second half.
Ashley Matlock was the lone Lady Wildcat in double figures with 19 points. Brooke Kearney scored nine points, and Rachel Want had six points and 12 rebounds.
Evelyn Turner paced Todd County Central (8-15) with 21 points, including four 3-pointers.
Todd County Central has won 19 straight games against Trigg dating back to 1986, although the five-point loss was the closest Trigg has played Todd since a four-point loss in 1988. Todd County leads the all-time series 27-4.
Trigg County falls to 10-11 and will host Hopkinsville Friday night.
