Trigg County got consistent play throughout the game and handed Dawson Springs a 69-44 setback Tuesday night at Wildcat Gym.
The Lady Wildcats shot 47-percent from the field and hit a season best 8-of-12 behind the 3-point arc.
Freshman Khadijah Grubbs came off the bench to score 16 points for Trigg County. Brooke Kearney added 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Audrey Futrell had 14 points and seven steals, and Alyssa Maxey added 13 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
Tessa Lanham led Dawson Springs (3-9) with 13 points.
Trigg County improves to 7-5 and will host Livingston Central Friday night at Wildcat Gym.
