Aneta Sloma scored 29 points to lead Livingston Central past Crittenden County 50-40 Saturday night in Smithland.
The Crittenden loss means Trigg County can claim a tie for the top seed if they beat Lyon County. That game was scheduled to be played Jan. 8 but was postponed because of the weather. No makeup date has been announced.
Crittenden County is 4-2 in the district. Trigg County is 3-2, and Lyon County is 2-3. The only seed that has been determined is Livingston Central, who will be the #4 seed with a 2-4 district record.
If Trigg beats Lyon County, it would give Livingston and Lyon identical 2-4 marks, but Lyon swept both district games from the Lady Cardinals and would get the #3 seed. Trigg and Crittenden would then flip a coin for the top seed.
If Lyon County beats Trigg, Crittenden County would be the top seed. Lyon and Trigg would play in the semifinals.
Crittenden County is the host for this year's Fifth District Tournament.
