Former Christian County standout Corey Wilford is off to a fast start for Connors State College in Oklahoma.
Wilford, a freshman, is averaging 10.6 points a game as Connors State, located in Warner, Oklahoma, has won their first six games of the season. Wilford scored 16 points in his second game for the Cowboys, who compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Meanwhile, Tyshwan Edmonson has adjusted well at Midland College in Texas. The former University Heights Academy All-State player is averaging 8.7 points a game in helping the Chaparrals to a 4-0 record.
Edmonson scored 12 points in Midland's 83-59 win over Lee College Thursday. Edmsonson is a sophomore at Midland, after transferring from St. John's University in the spring.
