Trigg County freshman Lauren Frazier scored four more goals to lead the Lady Wildcats to a 5-2 win at Lyon County Thursday in sloppy conditions.
Trigg also got another strong effort from their defense, which has held eight of their 10 opponents to two goals or less.
Kelci Winn had a goal and assisted on three others, tying the school record for assists in a game.
Katie Davis had six saves in net for the Lady Wildcats, who improve to 7-3 on the season.
Lyon County won the JV game 2-0.
Trigg County will play at University Heights Saturday afternoon at 1pm.
University Heights was a 7-1 loser to Hopkinsville Thursday as Lexie Bozell scored a hat trick, and Bennett Peck added two goals. Payton Bucko and Savannah Young each had a goal, and Josie Setwart, Sarah Pinson, Taylor Reid, Peck, and Bozell each had an assist.
Hopkinsville improves to 11-3 and will host Warren Central Tuesday. UHA falls to 8-3.
