Spencer Krhin of Southwood High in Wabash, Indiana literally led a one-man comeback, leading his high school to a 51-49 win over rival Northfield last Friday.
Trailing 49-40 with 46 seconds left, Krhin went to work. He swished a 3-pointer with 38 seconds left for a 49-43 deficit. After two missed free throws by Northfield, Krhin made another 3-pointer with 26 seconds left to make the score 49-46.
On the inbounds play, Krhin stole the pass and hit a fadeaway 3-pointer to tie the game with 16 seconds left. After Northfield missed a potential game-winning shot, it was Krhin who grabbed the rebound with five seconds left. After a timeout, Krhin did his best Danny Ainge imitation and dribbled up the floor and hit a jumper at the horn for the 51-49 win.
Krhin finished with 23 points -- 11 of those in the final 46 seconds.
