Scott Brown's SportsBytes on WKDZ: Trigg JV team drops two games

The Trigg County girls' JV basketball team opened their season with a pair of losses in Clarksville Saturday.

Trigg lost to Portland, Tenn. 29-23, with a 7-of-19 free throw performance spelling doom for the Lady Wildcats.

Alyssa Maxey led Trigg County with 10 points, while Kristian Wortham scored four points, and Kameo Bingham added three.

Trigg also fell to Clarksville High 54-21 with Wortham scored seven points, Maxey five, and Abigail Torian scoring three points.

Trigg County will play a JV game at Fort Campbell Tuesday.
