Lyon County used second half runs of 8-0 and 10-2 to run away from Trigg County 83-71 and stay unbeaten on the season, while handing the Wildcats their first loss Friday in Eddyville.
Trigg County had no answer for Ramsey Walker, who scored 35 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was 12-of-14 from the field and 11-of-14 from the free throw line.
Mitchell Peeler added 17 points, and Taylor Gray had 13 points, eight rebounds, and six assists for the Lyons (4-0, 2-0).
Shelton Burress had his best game of the season with 23 points and three assists. Zeke Wright added 20 points and nine rebounds, and Bradley Davis scored nine points.
Lyon County shot 60-percent from the field in the second half and 53-percent (28-of-53) for the game.
Trigg County hit 9-of-22 from 3-point range but was just 6-of-15 at the free throw line and was outrebounded 31-30.
Trigg County falls to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in district play.

The Wildcats will play Ballard Memorial at 7pm tonight in the first round of the Kentucky Machine and Engineering Christmas Classic at Wildcat Gym.
