Hancock County wins the ladies' KME Classic over Carlisle County

Hancock County took advantage of a slow start by Carlisle County and ran away from the Lady Comets for a 50-29 win in the title game of the Kentucky Machine and Engineering Classic at Wildcat Gym.

Hancock led 11-2 after one quarter and 26-7 at halftime as Carlisle County hit just 3-of-21 shots from the field in the first half.

Hilary Jones led Hancock County (8-0) with 16 points, while Carli Mosby added 11 points.

Whitney Hoskins led Carlisle County (4-3) with nine points
