Christian County won the Hopkins Central Storm Tournament over the weekend by winning three games on Saturday.
After tying Muhlenberg North 1-1 Friday, they beat Todd County Central 9-0 and earned a 1-0 forfeit over the Rebels in pool play.
Aaron Hutchison had the hat trick in the 9-0 win over the Rebels, and Darrin Horn added two goals.
They turned around and beat Muhlenberg North 6-0 as Hutchison had another hat trick, and Mitch West had two goals of his own. Hutchison has 14 goals on the season, and Jordan Holloman recorded his seventh shut out of the season.
Christian County (9-2-1) travels to Union County Thursday.
In other soccer action Saturday, Heritage Christian Academy beat AIE of Louisville 3-0. David Colby had two goals and assisted on a goal by Luke Carpenter. Joe Alvarado also had an assist for the Warriors, who are now 6-1 in KCAA play.
