Christian County claimed a straight set win over Trigg County in volleyball action Tuesday night, winning 25-18, 25-15.
LaKeysha Jones had a strong night serving for Trigg County, getting 17 of 18 inside the lines with two aces. Morgan Parker was 8-of-9 hitting at the net with two kills, and Kelly Bradshaw was 35-of-38 passing, while Stephanie Graves was 18-of-20 passing.
For Christian County,
Trigg County won the JV game 22-20, 21-15.
The Lady Wildcats fall to 10-17 on the season and will host Livingston Central Thursday. Christian County is 18-11 and will play at Kenwood Saturday afternoon.
In other games tonight:
- Fort Campbell beat Hopkinsville 25-8, 25-20 as Kayleigh Faulkner had six kills and a block. Erin Simoneau had three kills, and Anna Benjamin had six assists.
Trigg County seemed to pass the ball well according to the stats. Why then was the score of the second game so lopsided?
