Trigg County went on the road Thursday and picked up a big road win, knocking off Madisonville 25-17, 26-24.
It was the fifth time Trigg County has seen a game extended past 25 points, and the Lady Wildcats are 5-0 in those games.
Kelly Bradshaw was Kelly Bradshaw 18 for 20 passing for the match, and Stephanie Graves was 16 for 19 passing.
Lady Wildcat head coach Kim Colbert said the trio of Molly Thompson, Keisha Stewart, and Morgan Parker "shut down Madisonville at the net with their blocks and hitting."
Trigg County is 5-5 on the season and 3-2 in road games. They will host Caldwell County Tuesday. Most schedules list the game at Caldwell County, but the game was moved to Trigg County earlier in the week.

- Christian County lost to Christian Fellowship in straight sets 17-25, 18-25. "They have a very small gym and that gives them a huge home court advantage. We adjusted our practice by placing chairs around the court this week and it helped us tremendously," said Lady Colonel head coach Rick Erickson. "I'm seeing major improvement in some of the things the girls are doing. They are becoming a more aggressive team at the net and our attacks are improving. Unfortunately, our serve-receive and blocking were not very strong tonight and that hurt us a lot." Kayla Wade had 10 assists and 1 ace. Casey Castile had 4 kills, 1 ace and 1 block. Michelle O'Quinn had 3 kills. Kristy O'Quinn had 4 blocks, 2 aces and 1 kill. Cheyenne Willis had 5 blocks and 1 kill. Carly P'Pool had 4 blocks and 1 kill. Christian County is now 4-7. The JV won in three sets and is now 9-1.
- Paducah Tilghman ended Caldwell County's 10-game winning streak with a 25-23, 25-19 win.
- Franklin-Simpson got their first win of the year, beating Todd County 25-14, 23-25, 25-17.
