After going a combined 8-1 at last week's team camp at Campbellsville High School, Trigg County is again having a good week at the Centre College Camp in Danville.
The Wildcats (10-17 last year) are 5-2 through two days of the tournament and have garnered a #2 seed heading into today's single-elimination tournament.
Trigg opened play Monday with a win over defending 8th Region champ Shelby County (25-9) by 19 points. They lost to Boyle County (17-13) by six and beat Eminence (2-23) by 20 last night, Wildcat head coach Mike Wright said.
Today, Trigg opened with a one-point loss to Williamstown (4-20) before rebounding to beat Leslie County (4-21) by one point, Boyle County in overtime, and Shelby County by 16 tonight.
Trigg plays Williamstown, a #7 seed tomorrow. But Williamstown owns a win over Trigg County. West Jessamine is the camp's #1 seed.
