Devin Stewart to walk on at Murray State

Devin Stewart will continue playing football in college after deciding to walk on to the Murray State football team.

Stewart (6-0, 180) was second on the team in catches (18) and touchdowns (3) and led the Wildcats in receiving yards (288). 

While the Racers return four of their top five receivers from last year's 2-9 team, they are thin in the lower ranks with Stewart one of 10 freshmen receivers on the roster.

Ironically, the Murray State roster lists Stewart with jersey number 84, which was the same number his father Ross wore in high school at Trigg County.
