Two Christian County Lady Colonels were among the players named to the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association All-State teams announced Sunday.
Infielder Allie Blauser was named to the Class 3A All-State First Team. Among the others on the first team were Miss Softball Kirsten Allen of Ryle and Kentucky signee Rachel Riley of state champion Greenwood.
Christian County catcher Griffen Joiner was named to the All-State Second Team and pitcher Stacey Harbold was named All-State Honorable Mention.
Others named to the All-State teams were Cassee Layne of Reidland and Kari Jo Harris of Hopkins Central, both named to the Class 2A All-State First Team. Lauren Ward of Hopkins County Central was named to the Class 2A Second Team.
In Class 1A, Ballard Memorial teammates Kelsie Beardsley and Alexis Rodgers were named to the Second Team, and Dawson Springs pitcher Katrina Carter was named Honorable Mention.
