Transylvania golfer and Trigg County graduate Bradley Sutherland has been named an NCAA Division III Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar.
According to the Golf Coaches Association of America, golfers named to the team must be a junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participate in 70-percent of his team’s competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke average under 79.0 in Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.
Sutherland was also named to the NCAA Division III Ping Second Team All-American Team for the second straight year.
He finished tied for 15th at the NCAA Division III Championships last month.
