Trigg County won their third straight game with an 8-3 win over Montgomery Central Saturday in the final game of the Toyota of Hopkinsville Town and County Classic at Christian County.
Trigg scored three times in the second inning and four more times in the sixth inning to put the game away.
Mitch Rogers had three hits, while Will Stagner belted two doubles and a single and R.J. Sholar had two singles and a double. Jordan P'Pool also had a pair of doubles as part of Trigg County's 15-hit attack.
Donald Bush picked up the win on the mound by giving up just two hits over five innings. He struck out two and walked none.
Montgomery Central (6-14) lost all three of their games in the event.
Trigg County (8-6) has two district games this week -- at Livingston Central Monday and at Crittenden County Thursday.
