Christian County's Colton Ellis hit a walk-off home run with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Colonels a 3-2 win Tuesday over University Heights.
UHA took a 2-0 lead in the fifth thanks to three Colonel errors.
Matt Reed tied the game with a two-run homer to left center field in the bottom of the fifth.
UHA had the bases loaded and one out in the top of the seventh but missed a squeeze bunt that resulted in the runner at third getting tagged out.
Ellis hit a 2-0 pitch from Kyle Barbee over the left center field fence to win the game. He finished with two of Christian County's three hits.
Cole Isom pitched a third of an inning to pick up the win. Tyler Gilliand started and struck out eight, allowing no earned runs.
Barbee was the tough luck loser, giving up three runs, three hits, three walks, and struck out three.
Christian County is now 5-0, having allowed just four runs in the five wins. UHA falls to 3-1.
