The Kentucky National Archery in Schools Program's Region I tournament will get underway tonight at Wildcat Gym, with over 300 archers from nearly 10 schools participating.
This is the second year for the region meet, created due to the statewide growth of the archery in schools program.
In addition to Trigg County, teams from Henderson County, Logan County, Murray, Adairville, and Lewisburg will be competing in the region meet.
The Arrowcats will be shooting in two flights tonight at 5pm and 7pm. In addition, the entire high school flight will be shot tonight as well. The remaining flights will continue all day Saturday.
Anna Knicklebein and Grady Cofield are the defending region champions at the high school level, while Amber Abate is the defending middle school region champion for Trigg County.
The Arrowcats invite everyone to come to Wildcat Gym and watch them compete.
