That's about all you can say about Trigg County's 79-77 triple overtime win over Lyon County Friday night at Wildcat Gym.
The game featured 15 ties and 12 lead changes in what was Trigg County's first triple-overtime game since an 81-79 loss to Todd County Central at Wildcat Gym in 1985.
The game was tied 55-55 after the first overtime as neither team scored in the final 1:18 of regulation.
In the first overtime, Jonathon King hit a bucket with 0:14 left to tie the game at 60. Ramsey Walker was fouled with 3.3 seconds left but missed both free throws to send the game to a second overtime.
In the second overtime, King scored nine of Trigg's 10 points but missed two free throws 0:13 left.
In the third overtime, King scored seven of Trigg's nine points, including three free throws with six seconds left that sealed the game.
King finished with 41 points and 11 rebounds, despite not starting the game. Shelton Burress and Jalik Alexander also had 11 points apiece for the Wildcats, who had three starters foul out of the game.
Ramsey Walker led Lyon County with 35 points and 13 rebounds, but finished 8-of-20 at the free throw line.
For the game, Trigg was 12-of-18 at the line, while the Lyons were 21-of-40. In all, Trigg was whistled for 30 fouls while Lyon was called for 18.
Trigg County is now 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the district, while Lyon County falls to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the district.
