Christian County, UHA in holiday events

Both Christian County and University Heights are in a couple of prestigious statewide post-Christmas baskeball tournaments.

The Colonels are in the Fifth-Third Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic where they will play Franklin County Wednesday at 3pm. If they win, the Colonels will play Covington Catholic Thursday.

Meanwhile, University Heights is part of the 16 team King of the Bluegrass Tournament at Fairdale High in Louisville. The Blazers open play Wednesday against defending Fifth Region champion Adair County at 4:30pm. They will play Thursday at 7:30pm regardless of the outcome.
