Welcome to Lexington Dickie V.

Kentucky will have their hands full Saturday when they host top-ranked North Carolina at Rupp Arena. The Wildcats are coming off a 10-point win over a college that sounds like a retirement village (Stony Brook).

Also coming to Rupp Arena is Dick Vitale. Saturday's game is on ESPN2. Remember when Dickie V. made those pointed comments toward Kentcuky fans following the departure of Tubby Smith to Minnesota?

I wonder if the Kentucky fans will remember Saturday? Dickie V. may be approaching Billy Packer in "most hated TV announcers" category for the Wildcat faithful.

In addition to providing daily sports news on this blog, he broadcasts high school football, basketball, and baseball games on WKDZ and WHVO.
