Here is the 4-1-1 on Trigg County Sports today:
BOYS SOCCER - Trigg County hosts Russellville (JV at 6pm, Varsity at 7:30pm). It's Senior Night at the Complex as the Wildcats (5-5-3) host Russellville (4-8-3). The Wildcats won 2-0 back on Sept. 20 and have won eight straight against the Panthers. Russellville's last win in Cadiz came 14 years ago. Tonight is also Youth Soccer Appreciation Night. All Trigg County Youth Soccer Players can wear their jersey to the game and get in free. They will be recognized at halftime of the JV game around 6:15pm.
GIRLS SOCCER - Trigg County at Todd County Central (JV at 6pm, Varsity at 7:30pm). The Lady Wildcats (4-5-3) will have to make due without their two leading scorers for the rest of the season. Laykn Brooks suffered a season-ending knee injury last week, and Kelci Winn will undergo knee surgery this week. As a result, head coach Mike Smith has had to move several defenders into offensive roles, and the defense suffered, allowing a season-high seven goals in a 7-1 loss to Caldwell County. Trigg beat Todd 4-0 back on Aug. 23.
VOLLEYBALL - Trigg County hosts Christian County (JV at 6pm, Varsity at 7:30pm). The Lady Wildcats (9-15) are looking to snap a five-game losing streak when they host Christian County (14-14). It's the first matchup of the season between the two schools, and the next-to-last home game for the Lady Wildcats.
CROSS COUNTRY - Trigg County hosts St. Mary in a dual meet at the Lake Barkley Airport Course at 4:30pm.
