Don't ask me how a team can win by 43 points and fall two spots in the football rankings, but it happened this week.
Apparently beating Murray 49-6 wasn't enough as Trigg County dropped from a tie for first in the Associated Press Class 2A football poll to third. Danville remained #1 followed by Newport Central Catholic. Fort Campbell remained 10th. Here is the AP 2A Poll.
