Trigg County suffered through a horrible shooting night and lost 69-48 to Todd County Central Tuesday night in Elkton.
Trigg led 15-13 after one quarter but was outscored 20-5 in the second frame and 16-14 in the third quarter.
"They physically beat us. We didn't shoot well, but we just couldn't score inside and were beat on the boards," said Wildcat head coach Jeff Embrey after the Wildcats fell to 8-17.
Trigg shot just 28-percent from the field on 17-of-59 shooting, including a dismal 9-of-40 (23%) inside the 3-point line.
Jonathon King led Trigg County with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Rodney Davis added 12 points on 3-of-24 shooting, and Zack Wright scored 10 points.
Trigg returns to action Friday at Hopkinsville in the regular season finale.
