If past patterns are any indication, Trigg County should beat Fort Campbell tonight at Wildcat Gym.
Since 2000, the schools have alternated two game winning streaks over the past seven games. Fort Campbell beat Trigg on post last February 74-69 before Trigg ended the two-game streak with an 81-50 win over the Falcons in the Second Region Tournament.
Trigg County leads the all-time series 28-20, including a 14-8 record at Wildcat Gym.
The Wildcats are coming off a 71-64 loss in overtime to University Heights Saturday at Wildcat Gym. That loss came after an overtime win against Webster County earlier in the week, marking the first time since 1982 that Trigg played two straight overtime games. Trigg has never played three consecutive OT games.
The Wildcats are 7-15 on the season and 4-5 at Wildcat Gym.
Fort Campbell enters tonight's game with a 6-14 record. The Falcons have lost three straight, including a 49-43 loss to Rossview, Tenn. Monday night.
Airtime tonight for the varsity game is 7:03pm on 106.5 WKDZ.
