Trigg County scored the first 11 points of the game and never looked back as they blitzed Lyon County 67-44 Friday night at Wildcat Gym.
Trigg hit 11-of-22 three-pointers in the game and shot 53-percent from the field for the game.
The Wildcats used a switching variety of defenses to hold Lyon County to 42-percent shooting.
Rodney Davis hit 9-of-16 shots, including 8-of-12 from 3-point range, for a game-high 27 points. Zack Wright added 13 points, and Jonathon King had 12 points and seven rebounds.
Lyon County was led by Ramsey Walker's 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Lyon outrebounded Trigg 29-20 but turned the ball over 17 times that led directly to 21 Trigg points. Trigg had only seven turnovers.

Trigg improves to 6-9 overall and 3-2 in district play. Lyon County falls to 1-13 overall and 1-4 in district play.
Trigg County will play in the Owensboro Autism Classic tonight at 6pm against Owensboro (10-4) in the first-ever meeting between the schools.
Hopkins Central and Frederick Fraize will play at 4pm and Central Hardin and Owensboro Catholic will play at 8pm.
The games will be played at the Owensboro Sports Center.
