Trigg County (1-3) will try and avoid their first four-game losing streak in five years tonight when Livingston Central visits Wildcat Gym for a key district battle.
After opening the season with a win over Dawson Springs, the Wildcats have lost three straight games, including their district opener to Crittenden County Friday that snapped a nine-game regular season winning streak against district opponents.
Livingston Central is 2-1, owning wins over Community Christian (79-47) and Lyon County (61-48). Their only loss was to Hopkinsville (63-42). The Cardinals are coached by Jimmy Croft, who coached at Crittenden County for ten years.
Trigg County leads the all-time series with the Cardinals 57-49 and have won 12 straight games over Livingston dating back to 2001. Trigg has also won six straight games over the Cardinals at Wildcat Gym.
