Trigg County's volleyball season came to an end Monday in a straight set loss to Caldwell County in the semifinals of the Seventh District Tournament in Princeton.
Caldwell County won both games by identical 25-14 scores to advance to the championship game. Trigg County's season ends with a record of 8-28, setting school records for both games played (36) and losses (28) in a season.
Caldwell County (21-10) will advance to Tuesday's championship game where they will play Crittenden County (25-3), who beat Livingston Central 25-20, 25-17.
The two teams split their two regular season games, with each team winning on their home floor. Tonight's game time is set for 7pm at the Butler Gym.
