Kentucky approves six classes for football

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association approved the new six class alignment after a few tweaks. Trigg County remains in Class 2A, Region One, District One and will be joined in their new district by Reidland, Heath, Caldwell County, and Murray.

District Two will be made up of Fort Campbell, Owensboro Catholic, Todd County, and Hancock County.

Other teams making the move to Class 2A include Danville, Bardstown, Metcalfe County, Fort Knox, and Newport Central Catholic.
