Nashville Artist, Craig Wayne Boyd Coming to the WKDZ Country Ham Jam

 

Former Texan Choir Director, and current Nashville Singer/Songwriter Craig Wayne Boyd, stopped by the 106.5 WKDZ studios to visit with Bill Booth on Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 to make a big announcement...He will be performing at the 2012 WKDZ Country Ham Jam on the Renaissance Stage as part of the 2012 Trigg Country Country Ham Festival.  Bill has even talked Craig into helping with the "Hog Calling " contest this year.  You can hear Craig's latest single "I Ain't No Quitter" on 106.5 WKDZ.  Listen in for all the fun.

  Professional Rodeo Clown, Mike Wentworth, stopped by the "Live Afternoon Drive" to visit with Bill Booth on Wednesday, August, 15th, 2012.  Mike and Rachel Fowlkes-Boyd from Lonestar Rodeo talked about the upcoming Christian County Cattlemen's Association Rodeo, coming to the the Western Kentucky State Fairgounds on Friday August, 17th and Saturday August 18th, 2012.  Mike offered to make a clown face on Bill!  Listen in to the fun.

Confederate Railroad Coming to WKDZ "Country Ham Jam"

Confederate Railroad founder, Danny Shirley spent some time with Bill Booth on Monday, July 23rd, 2012 on 106.5 WKDZ.  After an awkward comparison to Dolly Parton, the two seemed to hit it off.  Shirley announced that he and the band will be the headliners at this year's WKDZ Country Ham Jam on the Renaissance Stage during the Trigg County Country Ham Festival, Saturday, October 13th, 2012.  Learn more at www.confederaterailroad.com

Swiss Native Visits With Bill Booth During 2012 CMA Music Fest

In his search for Country Music Fans from other countries at the 2012 CMA Music Fest, Bill Booth hit the jackpot when he found Maya Hagenbucher.  The 27 year vet of the event is from Switzerland.  Interesting to get an international perspective on country music. Bill and Maya had a nice visit while at the Wildhorse Saloon, wait till you hear her Garth Brooks Story!
