Four different players scored for Hopkinsville as they opened their season with a 4-0 win over Henderson County Tuesday night at the Stadium of Champions.
Caroline Noel, Lexie Bozell, Kelsey Humphries, and Abigayle Curtis each scored a goal, and Christiane Soldo added an assist. Mallory Smithson picked up the shutout in goal with seven saves. Hopkinsville will play Christian County Thursday in an "away" game.
In other games:
- Eden Mack had a hat trick to lead UHA past Heath 5-0. Sally Morse and Meg Thalmann each had a goal and an assist for the Lady Blazers, and Carson Bryant picked up the shutout in goal. UHA will host Todd County Thursday.
- Allie Alfeld scored a hat trick for Fort Campbell as the Lady Falcons beat Crittenden County 4-1. Jenna Ammerman scored off a penalty kick for Fort Campbell, who will host Trigg County Thursday. It will be the season opener for the Lady Wildcats.
- Calloway County beat Lyon County 8-1.
