Emma Talley shoots a 30 at Boots

Caldwell County's Emma Talley shot a 6-under-par 30 on the back nine at Boots Randolph Tuesday to claim medalist honors in a match with Trigg County, Livingston Central, and Lyon County.

Talley's round consisted of four birdies and an eagle on the par-5 15th hole. Talley had a shot to break 30 but had to "settle" for pars on 17 and 18.

Madison Chaney shot a 47 for Trigg County, and Sierra Bush added a 50. Allie Claxton shot a 46 for Lyon County.

For the guys, Trigg County beat Lyon County by 12 shots and Caldwell County by 17 to claim the five-way match.

Trigg's Cole Gardner and Caldwell County's Daniel Taylor shared medalist honors with a 1-over 37. Nick Choate added a 38, Austin Apsley a 40, and Carter Sholar a 45.
