Todd County scored four unearned runs and struggled to make contact at the plate in a 9-5 loss at Todd County Thursday.
The Rebels scored three runs in each of the first two innings and two more in the third to take control of the game.
R.J. Sholar had two singles and a double and drove in two runs. Jared Stallons, Hunter Smilie, and Andre Wright each had singles. However, Trigg County struck out nine times in the game.
The Wildcats also had another shaky defensive game, committing six errors.
"It was our worst game of the year. We came out dead and just didn't play," Wildcat head coach Jackie Sholar said.
Hunter Allen took the loss on the mound for the Wildcats.
Trigg County (2-5) returns to action today as they host Madisonville tonight at the Complex.
