Just days after their worst effort of the season, Trigg County rebounded strongly in falling to Lyon County 6-2 tonight at the Complex.
Trigg County, which committed 11 errors Tuesday in a loss to Fort Campbell, had just one against the Lady Lyons.
Trigg got both their runs in the sixth inning. Lyon scored single runs in the first and fourth innings and two runs each in the sixth and seventh innings.
Morgan Parker had two of Trigg County's five hits, while Elizabeth Torian, Taylor Furr, and Breanna Messmer each had singles.
Lauren Daniel scattered nine hits and struck out one in taking the loss on the mound for the Lady Wildcats.
Trigg County (0-4) returns to action Tuesday at home in another district game against Crittenden County. The game was switched to Cadiz before the season started. Crittenden County beat Trigg 7-0 on April Fool's Day in Marion.
