Crittenden County 7 Trigg County 0

Trigg County dropped their 2010 softball season opener at Crittenden County Thursday, falling to the Lady Rockets 7-0 in Marion.

Trigg outhit Crittenden 5-4 but committed six errors in the field that led to six unearned runs.

Sierra Bush, Ashley McGee, Lauren Daniel, Taylor Furr, and Breanna Messmer each had singles for Trigg County. Sammie Jo Quisenberry smacked a home run for Crittenden County (1-1).

Trigg County will travel to Todd County Central today for a 5:45pm contest with the Lady Rebels (1-5).
