The Boys' Soccer District Tournament title games in the Third and Fourth Districts will be played tonight with the winners and runner-ups advancing to next week's region tournament.
In the Fourth District, Trigg County and Caldwell County meet in the title game for the second straight year. Caldwell County won their first-ever district title last year, while Trigg won back-to-back titles in 2000 and 2001.
Trigg County enters the game with a record of 11-3-4, while Caldwell County is 10-5-1. The teams met twice during the regular season, with Trigg winning 2-1 on Oct. 3, and the teams tying 4-4 on Aug. 24.
Tonight will be the 45th career meeting between the schools, with Caldwell holding a 26-14-4 all-time advantage.
Gametime is 5:30pm tonight at Lee S. Jones Park in Eddyville.
In the Third District, Fort Campbell guns for their second straight district title when they play at Todd County Central.
The Falcons (9-4-1) edged Christian County 4-3 Wednesday night to advance to the title game.
Todd County Central (13-2-3) won their first-ever postseason game Tuesday with a 4-2 win over UHA in the semifinals.
Fort Campbell beat Todd County 6-1 Aug. 24 on post, but the Rebels returned the favor on Sept. 10 with a 4-2 win in Elkton.
