Trigg County got their first-ever win over University Heights in girls' soccer Saturday with a 3-2 victory in Hopkinsville.
Lauren Frazier's second goal of the game came with six minutes left and proved to be the game-winner. After falling behind 1-0, Frazier and Kelci Winn each scored goals to give Trigg a 2-1 lead. Winn assisted on both of Frazier's goals, and Frazier assisted on Winn's goal.
Katie Davis had seven saves in goal for the Lady Wildcats, who improve to 8-3. The Lady Wildcats host Hopkins County Central Tuesday.
Trigg County had lost six games to UHA and tied a seventh before getting their first win over the Lady Blazers.
UHA falls to 8-4 and will host Muhlenberg County today.
In other games today, Lyon County visits Christian County and Caldwell County is at Paducah Tilghman.
