Emma Talley weathered windy conditions to put together a solid round and win her fifth straight Region I golf title Monday at the Ballard County Country Club.
The Caldwell County sophomore had 14 pars and finished at three-under par, which was eight shots better than Heath's Christine Cash.
Both will advance to the state tournament in Bowling Green.
For Trigg County, Karli Bush shot a 92, followed by Sierra Bush (97), Madison Chaney (115), and Alyssa Maxey (145).
The boys region tournament will be played Tuesday at Miller Golf Course in Murray.
