Trigg County finished 8th out of 17 teams Saturday at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational at Paxton Park.
Josh Lowe led Trigg with a 78, while Nick Choate added an 84, Trent Parrent an 86, Cole Gardner an 87, and Derek Rogers a 94.
Trigg County' s score of 335 was 31 shots behind the winner, Calloway County. Caldwell County finished in 10th place with a score of 345. Daniel Taylor and Andrew Knight each shot an 81 for the Tigers.
St. Mary's Sammy Thompson won the match with a 69, one shot better than Ballard Memorial's Chase Laster.
Meanwhile, Hopkinsville took fourth place at the Madisonville Invitational Saturday, 17 shots behind the winner Muhlenberg County.
Jordan Gary led Hoptown with a 78, followed by Conner Gates with an 80, Dallas Gates an 82, Lucas Bolinger a 90, and Dayton Jones a 94.
Hopkinsvile fielded a second team in the tourney, with Brendan Jones, Jack Gardner, and Robby Massie each shooting a 90.
Trigg County will play at Marshall County today, while Hopkinsville will host Hopkins County Central in a dual match at the country club.
