Monday's golf results

Jordan Gary shot a 38 for Hopkinsville in a dual meet with Todd County Central at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Monday. Dallas Gates added a 39, followed by Dayton Jones (40), Conner Gates (44), and Jack Gardner and Lucas Bolinger each with a 46.

Jordan Walters led Todd County with a 46.

Michaela Young shot a 49 for Hoptown to lead the females.

At Mineral Mound State Park, University Heights beat Lyon County 192-203.

John Stevenson and Kyle Barbee each shot a 47, and Cameron Allen and Taylor Chapman each shot a 49 for the Blazers.

Lyon County's Stuart Lipscomb took medalist honors with a 42.

UHA returns to the links today against Crittenden County at Western Hills.

Also today, Trigg County will host Calloway County and Murray at Boots Randolph Golf Course.

In addition to providing daily sports news on this blog, he broadcasts high school football, basketball, and baseball games on WKDZ and WHVO. He also hosts the Saturday Morning Sports Report on WKDZ -- one of the few local sports programs in the area. His local sports has been the most read in Trigg County for several years.
