Jimmy Chapman out as UHA girls basketball coach

University Heights has decided not to renew the contract of girls basketball coach Jimmy Chapman, according to a story in Saturday's Kentucky New Era.

Chapman was 44-82 in five seasons as Lady Blazer coach, including the school's first-ever trip to the Second Region Tournament two years ago.

Chapman, who is also the girls' softball coach at UHA, told the newspaper he will not return in that capacity next year by his choice.
