Tuesday's golf results

Jordan Gary took medalist honors Tuesday at the Central City Country Club, shooting a 2-under 34.

Dallas Gates shot a 39, David Gardner had a 47, Jack Gardner a 48, and Lucas Bolinger a 52.

Muhlenberg North shot a 156, followed by Hopkinsville with a 168, and Ohio County with a 171.

Elsewhere, University Heights defeated Lyon County by eight shots Tuesday 174-182.

Kyle Barbee and John Stevenson each shot a 42 to lead UHA, while Taylor Chapman shot a 44, Cameron Allen a 46, and Tim Utley a 58.

Lyon County's Kell Blackburn took home medalist honors with a 39.

In JV golf, Christian County beat UHA 184-202.

Hunter Walker shot a 42 to lead Christian County, while Tyler Stewart shot a 48 for UHA.

Scott Brown handles most of the sports duties for Ham Broadcasting. In addition to providing daily sports news on this blog, he broadcasts high school football, basketball, and baseball games on WKDZ and WHVO. He also hosts the Saturday Morning Sports Report on WKDZ -- one of the few local sports programs in the area. His local sports has been the most read in Trigg County for several years.
